Food is a basic need, and we believe that every human being should have access to sufficient, and nutritious food. We however know that this is not the case for every human being. We believe that God cares deeply about every person and that He desires to use His church to do acts of kindness that demonstrate His love. Inspired by this premise, our church started distributing food to families that need this kind of help in Ås. This is done on Thursday every week with few exceptions related to holidays. In 2021, we provided food to an average of 80 persons every week. We are grateful to prayers and financial support provided to this work so far, and we urge more people to support this work. Financial support to this work can be given through the church account number or vipps, and should be marked, “food distribution”.
